Jacob Emanuel Toresson

Prior to joining Forestay, Jacob worked in early-stage investing at Alliance VC, where he focused on Nordic software companies. Before that, he was at McKinsey, advising private equity firms and corporations on due diligence and strategy. Jacob also brings experience from ABG Sundal Collier and Goldman Sachs.
Jacob is Swedish, now based in Switzerland, and has lived in Singapore and Mozambique. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in Machine Learning. Outside of work, Jacob stays active through skiing, traveling, and riding motorcycles.
Jacob combines technical depth with a commercial mindset and is particularly passionate about AI and digital health. At Forestay, he leverages his network to uncover the next generation of category leaders, with a primary focus on the Nordic region and Southern Europe.
